Whenever a year is closing up and we prepare to start a new, there is often a natural need to reevaluate certain aspects of our lives, projects we engage in, or look at what choices we are inspired to make. It offers a perfect mental opportunity to leave something behind, or to create something new. When I started Morning Projects it was because I wanted to push myself to become a better photographer, to force myself to dare to reach out to the people I wanted to talk to or learn more about, and to slowly create an online portfolio that I could reference when it came to work. Almost three years after everything has changed, and my life has taken a direction it would otherwise never do, and it’s time for a huge change. It feels like the right time to take a big and important step forward and restructure everything in my life according to it, so that everything will align and create a path that is leading in a direction I want to pursue now, and not what I wanted when I was 24 years old.
I’m starting Nordahl Creative in January, and will be creating a proper portfolio for that, which means that Morning Projects will go through some major changes as well. A lot of things will disappear, and a whole new structure and form will appear with new content and perspective. There are going to be a lot more interviews with exciting people, and new projects, where the stunning Madeleine Carstensen will be the first to appear! She used to be a ballet dancer, and apprentice, with the Royal Danish Ballet, but because of major changes in her body, she had to quit. She had been modeling a little bit while still dancing for the ballet, and has now properly transitioned into modeling, working with a lot go big names in the Danish fashion scene very early in her career. I’m so excited about what is to come in the new year, and I hope that you’ll like what I have in store for you!
Let me know if there is something you think I should definitely keep!
